Here at the Royal Gorge Tavern in the Denver Tech Center, we have a special affinity for the Yeti. The restaurant walls are lined with memorabilia of the elusive creatures, and, yes, we even have a Yeti suit.
The white, subzero cousin of Bigfoot lays claim to the namesake of two iconic menu items: the Yeti Sammich and Yeti Bites. Our Yeti originals pack a walloping punch of flavor straight from the recesses of the Himalayas as terrifyingly good as the Yeti is just plain terrifying.

The Yeti Sammich is not your ordinary cold cut sub with choice cuts of gourmet prosciutto and capocollo layered with provolone and mozzarella. Add to this lettuce, tomato, onion, sweet peppers, and a liberal helping of Italian spices all inside a hoagie roll and you have yourself an outstanding Royal Gorge original. Flavor this full-bodied and satisfying is almost as elusive as the Yeti itself! As with all our sandwiches, kettle chips or fries and a pickle garnish the sandwich in proper tavern fashion.
The Yeti’s North American cousin, Sasquatch, has a sandwich too: The Sasquatch consists of over half a pound of grilled rib-eye with horse radish and onions on a hoagie roll.

Yeti Bites are our famed sweet treat delicacy. Made out of pizza dough, they are mini sopapilla-looking pastry pillows drizzled with cinnamon and sugar and served with a side of honey. They’re great finger food for sharing around the office, but since they’re so addictive you might want to get two orders!

Not to be forgotten are our Yeti beers from local Denver brewery Great Divide Brewery Company. Choose from several blends (imperial stout, oak aged, chocolate aged, or espresso aged) of the finest Yeti-inspired malt liquors. The bold flavors include deep caramel and toffee notes and more hops per unit than the average beer. Swing in during our Greenwood Village happy hour specials from 4pm to 7pm daily for a thrifty beer fix.

That’s why we’ve made a conscious effort to accommodate those customers with some recipes and products without gluten. So if you’re looking for a gluten-free pizza on your lunch break, the Royal Gorge offers up a savory option in the Denver Tech Center: our 10” gluten-free crust with either regular or non-dairy cheese added as well as any of our regular toppings to choose from at a reasonable $11.99. Rest assured, all meat used at Royal Gorge is certified gluten-free as well. Flavor is not compromised as the gluten-free crust is every bit as delicious as our others, so whether you’re gluten-intolerant or not you’ll be sure to love this one.

Wash the pizza down with a cold mug of New Planet gluten-free beer, and stop by during our happy hours daily from 4:00 – 7:00 pm to do it for less. Our “2 for Tuesdays” deal gets you a buy-one-get-one-free deal on all draft beers. We do our best at the Gorge to accommodate all your needs, so make sure to try us out for a no-hassle gluten-free meal at our easily accessible location just off of 1-25 and Orchard and directly across from the Orchard Light Rail Station.
